Since the start of our webinar series that began during the pandemic in 2020, we have gone through a metamorphosis to determine what topics and interests young people are keen to learn more about. As a result, we hosted Season II Climate Finance and Carbon Markets webinar session in 2021, under our flagship, Road to COP26 webinar series.

This year, we plan on bringing youth the Road to COP27 webinar series that will focus on seven succinct topics to help young people actively engaged in the climate finance process understand how they can meaningfully participate in enhancing climate flows both within their circles and on the global level.

We are grateful for the collaboration of YOUNGO Finance and Markets working group with whom we will be co-hosting our first session and their third session. We would like to thank previous collaborative partners including, GEFI, Slycan Trust, Citizens Climate International, AYICC to name a few.

The third session is also a preparatory phase for the upcoming COP27 climate negotiations to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt later this year. The recorded sessions will be displayed on our academic portal.
