We now welcome Xiomara Acevedo from Colombia (South America). Joins the Youth Fund Committee as Active Committee Member. They will assist with vetting projects and ventures under the microgrants. Xiomara Acevedo, Internationalist and Climate Change activist, consultant and social entrepreneur from Colombia. She is the founder and director of Barranquilla+20 a youth-led & focused NGO whose mission is to educate and empower children and youth in climate change, biodiversity and water in Colombia and LAC countries. She also coordinates the Global Youth Biodiversity Network in Colombia and the Women for Climate Justice project in Barranquilla+20 as part of the Generation Equality process. She is an One Young World Ambassador. Congratulations to Xiomara and welcome among us!
